ATTENTION! FDA WARNING: Certain Philips Respironics Ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP Machines Recalled Due to Potential Health Risks: FDA Safety Communication (Click here for details)

Phillips Respironics recently issued a recall of most of its PAP (Positive Air Pressure) units, which are used in the treatment of sleep apnea. They have advised halting the use of those units in most cases. In addition to creating challenges for patients currently using Respironics PAP units, this has also resulted in difficulties for some sleep labs, as they are unable to schedule PAP studies for their patients.

We at Sleep Solutions of Fredericksburg would like to reassure you that the PAP units used at our lab for titration studies are not subject to recall and are considered safe for use. As we have done for many years, we remain available to assist you with your sleep disorders. To schedule an appointment, please call (540) 372-6430. If you would like to arrange a consultation with one of our sleep specialists, you may contact Pulmonary Associates of Fredericksburg at (540) 899-1615.
